About
About me
I'm Maksim Zaytsev, a full-stack developer in Prague. Since 2019 I've been building the frontend of PD3 — Protank Dynamics' logistics platform for waste-collection fleets — as a senior frontend developer in a Czech-speaking team, and one of the main authors of its React codebase.
Before that and alongside it I've worked freelance since 2016: corporate sites, landing pages and web apps for small businesses, from the first sketch to hosting and domains. I studied applied informatics at the University of Economics in Prague.
I care about the whole loop — the data model, the API contract, the interface and how it feels to use. Lately that includes teaching AI agents to work inside a real codebase: skills, MCP servers, review checklists.

PD3, a logistics platform for waste-collection fleets: a React, TypeScript and MobX monorepo with shared UI packages, OpenAPI contracts with the backend, UX decisions made together with the team. Lately also agent skills and tooling so AI assistants can work inside the codebase.

Beyond code
Away from the keyboard
VR shooters and the occasional Twitch stream, strength training with a nutrition log I keep more precisely than I should, drawing, and a 3D printer that turns evenings into small objects. When something annoys me in a game, I write a tool for it.
